BIOGRAPHY
David Scotchford is a creative content creator and consultant specializing in premium live entertainment. His work spans original show creation, entertainment development, choreography, staging, and concept refinement for theatrical, cruise, and experiential performance environments. Drawing on experience across major productions and international entertainment settings, he helps shape audience-forward work that is both emotionally clear and commercially strong.
David has contributed to the development and realization of live entertainment across Broadway, cruise, and international production environments. He spent several years as an associate to Tony Award–winning choreographer Warren Carlyle, contributing to numerous productions and workshops, including the Broadway revival of The Music Man. His work in premium cruise entertainment has expanded his experience in shaping large-scale audience-facing productions for international settings, alongside choreography credits that include international productions of Dirty Dancing and In Tandem for RWS Step One Dance Company.
Originally from Australia, David began his career as a performer in musical theatre and live entertainment, working internationally across stage and screen. He is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
